Brilliant birding on the Hoskinstown Plain

The simple purpose of the post is to alert readers to posts about an astonishing influx of Banded Lapwings to the Hoskinstown Plain. This will be of interest to those who are interested in birds but not on the COG Chatline, nor a local birder.  The Lapwings get up to 18 birds in a second post.

A lot of other birds get mentioned as well!
