Wrens and Sunset

A flock of Superb Fairy-wrens came by the bird bath this afternoon.  From the weather forecast (see the end of yesterday's post) thats about the only water they're likely to see for a while!
This is a male- possibly thinking about going into breeding plumage.
This is a female.  The red facial skin means it isn't a female Variegated Fairy-wren or Red-backed Wren.  The fact that they would be about 100km or 400km respectively out of its range also helps!
Later in the day, if they had looked up there was quite a pretty sunset.
