Garden flowers get going

After a very cool October some of our garden flowers get going.  I expect to add to this post as the month progresses.  If nothing else it will brighten up things for those in the Northern hemisphere who are descending int the Winter.

The first images are of the first of our Flag Irises to hit their straps.

There are also some yellow varieties which are more like Dutch Iris in structure.  They are growing in a small swamp we built to catch runoff.

The next 4 are of the current offering from a mega-punnet of mixed polyanthus.  Its good to find that there is a wide range of colours on offer!
