Back on air!
If my reader has wondered why this blog has been quiet recently it is because I have been on a camper trip around NSW seeking more equable weather. We have now returned home to a gale and a forecast of a maximum temperature of 8C (which seems to have been pretty much situation normal while we were away).
I will be compiling a blog trip report to be published under this introductory page. My plan for publication is to use a 2 stage approach:
I expect/hope to have step 1 completed by 03 August and stage 2 by about 10 August. In fact that was exactly what happened: there are just a couple of final appendices to put up, then any corrections etc when the editor in chief has a read.

- Initially put up daily highlights and the selected images; and then
- Add text to accompany them, hopefully explaining what the heck is going on.

Promise us next time you visit our nearest village you'll at least let us buy you a coffee / share some of our secret local dog friendly places :)
It's lovely to read about your trip, we've not quite finished all the posts yet, so good to know you are home safe.
I have no idea why the comments section has vanished from the blog. but it certainly has! I shall see what I can find out. I suspect it is something to do with Google+ (but in that case I dunno why it doesn't affect this blog!
You might note that I am now adding (lots of) text to the posts, rather than just the headlines and photos.

I don't know how else to contact you so hope you read this.
I have (with great help from Blogger Help Forum) solved the comment problem. It may take a while to fix it for all posts but the solution is known and simple.

Thank you :)
I just wanted to say how much we enjoy your trip blogs. We have Travels With A Tick Magnet in our blog list on our home page (as well as The House of Fran-mart) and it's always a delight when a new post appears and we know a whole trip story is about to unfold. Your "best of"s at the top of each post give us a real laugh and we always learn something new from each post, whether it's a new bird or a new memorial. So thank you - please keep up your winter travels. We left Canberra (after nearly 30 years) because of the winters, so we know what they are like :)
