December gardening: Pt 1- the flowers

This is mainly a few snaps of the flowers coming in our garden beds.

This is a very attractive flower, that might be the centre of any flower garden, if it wasn't actually a potato!
 Some penstemons.
I shall refrain from referring to the Lonnie Donegan joke "How d'you know they're lilies?"

We don't have a great number of Astrolomeria, but they are very pretty.
I cannot remember what this is!
The Honeyeater's friend: (and Edward II's nemesis) Kniphofia or Red-hot poker.

Pretty! I love also a garden of beds even though I don’t know their breeds or names exactly but we have also a Penstemons that embellish our gazebo.
