Someone else's house (to be)

Looking out from our place in Mallacoota we could see a high crane in Karbeethong.  I went that way on a bike ride so checked it out.  It was putting in the second half of an Anchor home.

As I rode up Schnapper Point Drive I was told the road was blocked.  In reference to Karbeethong Rd it certainly was obstructed.

It was a tight fit between the bushes ...
.... not too much room to spare at the downhill end ...
.. and little clearance to a transmission line (NBN?) over the top.
The crane dropped some chains and straps down.
Which blokes attached to the appropriate spots.

There was a brief problem with some guttering getting in the way, but nothing that couldn't be resolved with a bit of 4x2 ...
... some tension on the straps ...
.. and. of course, some cable ties!
I had to leave before lift off was achieved but looking down from home the dwelling was clearly airborne and heading for its rightful place.
I went past the next day and got a snap of the two half-houses joined.  They will have a great view!
