A short trip to Canberra (pt2)
The 22nd of February began with a visit to the Croquet Club. I had decided that rather than do one of our 'normal' walks I'd walk from the lawns. This amounted to a lap of Lotus Bay and the various Asian gardens in the area. An interesting set of signs. The "street sign" to the croquet club; The name of the Hyatt pub - this is the main entrance I think as it is often full of cars with CD plates when a posh delegation is in town; and Noting the Asian nature of the parks (and the closeness of the Chinese Embassy) a warning sign about Death Caps. Bird of the day was a Yellow-rumped Thornbill. These are Dusky Woodswallows (as snapped) .... .. and after a little exposure adjustment by Photoshop Express!
