Wet bark

We got a nice Christmas present in the form of 35mm of rain on the 25th.  Apart from the general 'goodness' of the event it makes the bark on some of our Eucalyptus mannifera show really nicely.  Enjoy the red and orange glows.

Lovely colours there, Martin.
I know those dry hills of the Southern Tablelands well (not yours particularly) but I can sense how the dry country would be soaking up the water with great relief.
You have captured it beautifully.
Look out for Hyacinth Orchids after the rain.
Cheers
Denis
