A visit to Kellys Swamp

The first birds noted were two White-faced Herons.  They were in breeding attire.
These two Australasian Shovelers swam around in tandem with much head bobbing.  I took this to be disply behaviour and thus a breeding record.
Pink-eared ducks were not displaying any behaviour oher than sleep.
Freckled ducks have a distinctive silhouette!
And when swimming straight towards the camera show off their freckles.
